As you can see, I have not yet finished the 'Please Twins' series page but plan to before Christmas, as well as a few additional series pages. For those wondering why it takes me so long, I travel a lot for work and when I'm not travelling, have two small children to spend time with. Iknow it's been forever since my last update, but I finally had a few minutes of free time to add something to the site. Hopefully, this will in some small way make up for the big delays, but probably not. =)
Anyway, I have put together three different wallpaper designs for Azumanga Daioh in multiple sizes. I hope to have three more done before next weekend. Let me know how you like them!

Today I've started working on the page layout for a series. Series can be Anime, Manga or both. I'm starting off by putting together the series page for Please Twins, the sequel-of-sorts to Please Teacher.

Well, it's been a while since I last did anything with this site, but now it's time to get it back on track. When it all started, it was just an image site: a large warehouse of scans and vidcaps. While it may have satisfied others looking for images of their favorite series or characters, it wasn't very fulfilling to me. So I started adding in reviews. The problem was, I didn't have the time I needed to do very many reviews, so they just languished and never got added on any regular basis. To try and correct this, I re-wrote the site to be dynamic and driven from a database. That way, others could upload images, right reviews, submit editorials, etc. It seemed like a good idea, but when the time came to get others involved, I choked. I didn't feel that I knew anyone well enough to want to let them have that much power on my site. And so I took the site down again and it has sat without content for many months.
Now I'm getting back to it. I am going somewhat back to the original concepts and expanding from there. I have returned the site to its native non-dynamic roots and removed all of the underlying code that I had written. Will it come back? Yes, in the future and in a new form to support a differing set of needs. In the meantime, I will do my best to keep the site updated through work after my wife and kids go to sleep. As such, you'll see features and content added in a little at a time, and in accordance with my free time. Also, for the real web geeks out there, I am building this site using XHTML under the XHTML 1.0 Strict DTD. As you would expect, I am using CSS to assist with the layout. Let me know if you have any problems viewing the site by dropping a line to webmaster@anime-tion.com!
