BIO, more about Kenny Ray

cheap hotel in LilleBiography of Kenny Ray Dukes

Kenny Ray Dukes was raised in the coal fields of  Muhlenberg County, of Western Kentucky.  Muhlenberg County was also home to Thumb Picking Hall Of Famer, Merle Travis, and the  legendary, Mose Rager.  As a youngster, he was inspired by these great men, and wanted to play like them. After finishing school and becoming a machinist, he moved to Texas, and then on to Miami.  Music came to Kenny Ray at an unexpected time in his life. With a few life changing experiences, he decided to move back to Muhlenberg County, to explore the passions of his roots, country music. He bought a hollow box guitar and began teaching himself how to play. Soon, he was writing lyrics to the music he was creating. Thirty-five songs later, and numerous appearances all over the Southwest, he is making a name for himself in the country music world.  The natural ability that he expresses with his thought provoking lyrics, along with his deep resonant voice, gives Muhlenberg County another reason to have pride.

ERROR MSGKenny now resides between his homes in Miami, Florida, and Muhlenberg County, Kentucky.
