Harrod will focus on the theme, Christians and Natives: Imagininga New Millennium.Vic Hunter, pastor of Evergreen ChristianChurch and director of Mountain Retreat at Pine, Colorado, will lead aclergy formation retreat in Salem, Oregon,on Wednesday and Thursday, November 4-5, 1998. Hunter, who also teachesin pastoral care and spirituality at Phillips Theological Seminary, Tulsa,will address the subject, The Recovery of Vocational Clarity in the Pastorate.
Associate Dean Rod Parrott and former trustee Duane Rames lead theFoundation's third Alternative StudyTour to Israel and the Autonomous/Occupied Palestinian Territories,January 12-24, 1999. The 13-day trip includes visits with PalestinianChristians, meetings with Israeli and Arab participants in the peace process,and travel to selected historic sites.
